CHURCH TRUCK SERVICE & REPAIR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AND REPAIR OF FERNO & JUNKIN CHURCH TRUCKS
CHURCH TRUCK REPAIR & SERVICE
Church trucks see years of folding, loading, transport, storage, and movement across funeral homes and other facilities. Over time, worn casters, damaged bumpers, loose hardware, malfunctioning locks, or frame problems can affect both the appearance and safe operation of the truck.
Cantrell’s provides inspection, repair, parts replacement, and general service for professional church trucks, with particular experience servicing Ferno and Junkin equipment.
Ferno's Model 87 series uses an aluminum X-frame design, six-inch caster wheels, rubber supports and multiple locking positions, while Junkin's CH-300 uses a similar accordion-style aluminum frame with four operating positions.

FRAME & STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS
We inspect the aluminum frame, support members, hinges, joints, and connection points for cracks, bending, looseness, or other structural damage that could affect stability or safe operation.
CASTERS, WHEELS & BEARINGS
We inspect casters, wheels, axles, and wheel bearings for excessive movement, uneven wear, binding, wobble, or damage that can affect steering and mobility.
FOLDING & LOCKING MECHANISMS
We inspect the folding assemblies, hinges, braces, locks, and related hardware to make sure the church truck opens, closes, and locks securely in its operating positions.
BUMPERS, HARDWARE & OVERALL OPERATION
We inspect rubber bumpers/stops, fasteners, handles, and other wear components, then operate the complete church truck to check stability, rolling, steering, folding, and overall function.
COMMON CHURCH TRUCK PROBLEMS

STRUCTURAL FRAME DAMAGE
Repeated folding, transport, loading, and years of use can place stress on church truck frames and joints. Cracks, bent components, or looseness around structural connection points can affect stability and should be inspected before continued use.
WHEEL & BEARING FAILURE
Worn wheel bearings and caster components can allow excessive movement, wheel lean, wobble, binding, or poor tracking. Cantrell’s inspects the complete wheel and caster assembly and replaces worn components as needed.

Other common issues include worn rubber bumpers, loose hardware, damaged hinges, and folding or locking mechanisms that no longer operate securely.
